John Doherty
Special Consultant, Integrated Data Radio Technology Products

John Doherty has more than 25 years of experience in the characterization and deployment of RF-based systems from VHF to Ka-Band. His background has ranged from small start-up companies to research facilities such as AT&T Bell Laboratories and MIT Lincoln Laboratories. Mr. Doherty holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Boston University. His extensive knowledge and skill have enhanced GEOCommand and helped distinguish the software from any other
GIS mapping product.
 

Aaron Robinson

President, Animas Geographic Technology

Aaron Robinson is one of the original designers of the GEOCommand software. He has more than 12 years of experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) design and analysis, system implementation, system integration, data collection, and remote sensing. He has managed GIS and Global Positioning System (GPS) services for municipalities, the pipeline industry, private industry, and government agencies. His experience includes GIS and GPS projects across the United States, including mapping and analysis for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permitting projects. He is currently the owner and president of Animas Geographic Technology, Inc., a GIS consulting company specializing in designing and implementing spatially enabled information systems.

 

B. Scott Stewart
Special Consultant, Software Development and Project Management

With more than 20 years of experience in software design, development, and testing, B. Scott Stewart brings considerable expertise to the GEOCommand application. He is currently a Project Manager at Avocent, where he is leading a team of 40 software and firmware developers in building the company’s Web-based enterprise management system. As a programmer/analyst, Mr. Stewart’s impressive breadth of knowledge includes numerous programming languages, network protocols, and Windows developer environments.
 

Orval Hart, M.S.
Special Consultant, Customer Support

Now retired, Orval Hart enjoyed a long career as a software engineer, senior systems analyst, and project manager. After working on critical projects at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Hughes Aircraft, and the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, in 1981 Mr. Hart joined the staff at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he specialized in the design and implementation of real-time data acquisition and control systems. After the Cerro Grande fire in 2000, Mr. Hart was responsible for the design and implementation of the Cerro Grande Rehabilitation Project Data Mirror, which provided as much current information as possible to the Emergency Operations Center and emergency responders in the field. He was instrumental in implementing
GIS mobile mapping solutions at the Laboratory, and assisted in the development of the GEOCommand software.
